RETURN POLICY / TERMS AND CONDITIONS
Minimum return of 250 sf or more unless defective. No returns on trim and underlayment.
Floor Mania will replace products or give a refund if you receive damaged goods. If this happens it must be noted on the B.O.L. (paper you sign off on with the driver) with your signature and that of the driver. If you fail to put it on the B.O.L., we may not be able to replace or give a refund.
Floor Mania will resend products that are missing from your order, if you have it noted on the B.O.L. with your signature and that of the driver. Never sign the B.O.L. that you have received something when you haven't.
Floor Mania will replace products or give a refund if you receive an incorrect product. If this happens, you must REFUSE to accept the product and the driver will take the material back with him or her. Under no circumstances should you keep the incorrect products.
Floor Mania uses a variety of freight carriers to deliver products. Every carrier will have a delivery receipt or B.O.L. for you to sign. The B.O.L. will have a list of the products that are being shipped to you. At delivery you will have to sign the B.O.L., that you have received your products.
Before you sign be sure to do the following things. Confirm that you are receiving the correct product and quantities. If any product is missing, it MUST be notated on the delivery receipt. Inspect all boxes and packages for damages. Look for characteristics like dents, gouges, rounded corners, opened boxes, broken containers, and etc. Any such damage must be clearly notated on the delivery receipt and signed by BOTH you and the delivery driver.
If you sign the B.O.L. and do not have the driver make notes on any problems (damages, shortages, incorrect product, etc.) then Floor Mania is not responsible for refunds or replacements.
RETURNING UNDAMAGED ITEMS
Even when your order is correct and undamaged, Floor Mania happily accepts returns. Here's what you need to know to avoid misunderstandings:
To return something, contact us within 3 days of delivery for a return authorization number.
You'll be reimbursed for the cost of the item less a restocking fee (usually 25%). Shipping charges will not be refunded and you will have to pay for return shipping.
The manufacturers we work with often charge a restocking fee of 25% or more. Shaw industries has a minimum restock fee of $125 and a minimum return amount of 250 sf (unopened boxes of flooring) . Your refund will be reduced by the amount of the restocking charge. Items must be returned in original cartons. Our suppliers will not accept open boxes.
We will arrange return shipping for you, or you may arrange it yourself. In either case you will be responsible for return shipping charges.
We do not accept returns on any trims or accessories, except when damaged and noted on the Bill of Lading.
Floor Mania will not refund or replace products, except as listed above. Floor Mania will not refund or accept any returns on products because you order more product than needed, products have color variation, or because you have changed your mind about the product altogether.
Residential Shipping - Please be aware, this is a freight delivery. This is not the same as FedEx or UPS shipments. Tracking on these orders can be off by a day or two. Someone will need to be available to receive the shipment. At this time we will only provide residential shipments for orders over 300 sf. If you are ordering less than 300 sf and need residential shipping please contact us. Deliveries are usually made between 8am and 6pm M-F (no weekends). If you are not available to receive a shipment at your home during those hours please choose another shipping option. If a delivery is attempted and no one is there to receive the order you may be charged a re-delivery fee (usually $50). So before choosing residential shipping make sure you will be available. We do give you an estimated delivery date, so that helps determine when to expect the order.
Please note - commercial shipment now require a fork lift or loading dock available upon delivery.
Customers in no taxed states are responsible for their own local and state tax laws.
