Shipping Overview

Understanding a few simple things about the trucking industry can make all the difference in how satisfied you are with your Floor Mania experience, so we encourage you to read carefully.

Freight carriers typically deliver only as far as the back of their trucks.

  • You are responsible for getting your merchandise off the truck and into your building. If you want a lift gate to lower your merchandise from the trailer to the ground, or want the driver to take your order into the building, we will have to arrange a different shipping method. Call us today at 1-888-546-4331 and we’ll be happy to make the arrangements, but you will be charged rates set by the freight company.
  • It’s up to you to determine that your order is complete and undamaged.

    • Count your packages to make sure the number delivered matches the delivery receipt. If it does not, note the shortage on the delivery receipt.
    • Inspect your order carefully before signing for it. If the driver does not have time to wait for you to check each box throughly, write "not sure of damages, pending inspection" on the delivery receipt.
    • Always note on the delivery receipt any carton damage you see.
    • If you discover damage after the driver has gone, call Customer Service at 1-888-546-4331. Shipping claims must be reported within 3 days of delivery. Floor Mania will replace at no charge anything reported damaged, missing or not delivered as ordered if reported during this period.
    • Please keep the original cartons until any problems are resolved.
    • Always note on the delivery receipt any carton damage you see.
    • Due to the nature of tile products such as natural stone, ceramic, and porcelain please add 5% for possible shipping damages. All damaged tile items must be noted on the bill of lading. We can not be responsible for damages to tile that is not noted on the shipping paperwork. Floor Mania will only replace damages that exceed 5% of your order.

    Where Can I Ship My Order?

    We ship in the Continental USA only.

    • Our delivery trucks do not cross ferries or oceans.
    • You may ship all items to any business location (commercial address).
    • All items except orders being delivered by a Shaw Truck can be shipped residential (fees apply). All Shaw products are shipped by Shaw Trucks and they do not ship to residential neighborhoods.
    • We only offer pick-up locations for any Shaw Hardsurface (tile, laminate, or hardwood) at the following distribution centers. However, these facilities are not equipped to allow customers to shop at these locations. All products are boxed on pallets for shipping. *Some of these are on the outskirts of much larger cities.

      Shipping Methods

      We offer a variety of shipping options.

      • All Shaw products are shipped by Shaw Trucks to a commerical (business) address. It costs only $55.00. There are no hidden charges. Occassionaly there will be promotion where you can get free shipping. Call our Customer Service for more details at 1-888-546-4331.
      • All products, except Shaw Brand, are shipped by freight trucks. Prices are based on weight of your order and your location. Your order will be sent via the least expensive carrier, unless you specify otherwise.
      • Please read Shipping Overview for information about how shipping works.

      Shipping Time

      The total delivery time for your order is the period of time from when you place your order until the time you receive it. It is comprised of two parts, the processing time and the shipping time.

      Processing time for an item is the time from when you submit your order to when the item leaves the warehouse. This usually takes 1-3 days depending on the products you order. Shipping time is from when the item leaves the warehouse to when it arrives at your door. Shaw orders can be anywhere from the same day to 14 days. It typically takes Shaw about 5-7 days to get your order to you.

      However, other manufacturers can take longer. Most products can be received within 14 days from the day you place your order on the website or by phone.

      Returns Policy

      RETURNING UNDAMAGED ITEMS

      Even when your order is correct and undamaged, Floor Mania happily accepts returns. Here’s what you need to know to avoid misunderstandings:

      • To return something, contact us within 3 days of delivery for a return authorization number.
      • You’ll be reimbursed for the cost of the item less a restocking fee. Shipping charges will not be refunded.
      • The manufacturers we work with often charge a restocking fee of 25% or more. When they do, your refund will be reduced by the amount of the charge. Items must be returned in original cartons. Our suppliers will not accept open boxes.
      • We will arrange return shipping for you, or you may arrange it yourself. In either case you will be responsible for return shipping charges.
      • We do not accept returns on any trims or accessories, except when damaged and noted on the Bill of Lading.

      Back-Ordered or Out-of-Stock Items

      Our Backorder Policy

      While we strive very hard to maintain adequate stock levels of our items and usually fulfill 98% or more of all orders designated as such, but we do run out or low from time to time. This is especially true of seasonal products or Promotional items. If the item is completely out of stock you will be notified within 48 hours after your order is placed.

      In general Floor Mania will automatically backorder products that we think we can obtain within 30 days and send them immediately when back in. If the 30 day window cannot be met we will cancel the backordered items. If the backordered item(s) will take longer than 30 days or is under $5 we will email you a refund notice and issue a refund to the credit card you provided.

      All backordered items we retain will remain on backorder with Floor Mania unless we receive further instructions from you. As a retail distributor, we rely upon our many valued suppliers to help maintain our inventory levels. Situations do arise that are beyond our control that can cause backorder delays to you our valued customer. Floor Mania will try hard to communicate with you about such situations.

      Tracking Your Order

      Many times we ship directly from our supplier or manufacturer and do not get traditional tracking information. However, if you have placed an order and have not received it within 14 days, please call our Customer Service at 1-888-546-4331 and we will gladly check on the status of your order.
